Scanning permits us to tag their photo with their name for instant retrieval - and gives the booth sponsor the ability to seamlessly follow up with participants through the Connected Marketplace. Participant’s flash their barcode from their show ticket, which we scan at the beginning of the photo experience. In fact, we’ve integrated the system into the Travel and Adventure Shows’ Connected Marketplace. Again, with the goal of reducing touchpoints, this process allows participants to digitally access their photos - in real time - simply by scanning a QR Code on their personal device and typing in their name. In addition, we have developed a QR Code Photo Retrieval system, eliminating the need to email or text message photos. Eliminating props also helps our photographers and assistants maintain recommended social distances. Instead, we are substituting in “virtual props” to provide an interactive, reduced-touchpoint photo experience. We have made a few tweaks to the experience, taking DELTA variant into consideration.įor the 2021 Dallas, Atlanta, and Bay Area shows, we are eliminating all on-location, physical props. Those plans will include the infamous US Event Photos experiential green screen photo booth. After half of the 2020 Travel and Adventure Show series was cancelled due to COVID-19, plans are underway for 20.
